Christmas Post!

I had fun on christmas with my mom and her friends. Mom wanted to invite her friends over and do something different this year. Normally, we would just celebrate this day as a present giving day and eat as a family consisting of my mom, bro, and myself (dad is always too bz to be home).


This year mom wanted sushi~~
However, I still miss my sassy grandma. I know my thoughts are random, sigh...but oh wells!

12/6/08 - Adopt a family for Christmas

So at work we adopted a family for X-mas. I was just going to Macy's to buy some clothes for the family.....but on my way there.. I already did a good deed before beginning my mission.

as i was walking to macy's, a lady from another state's car started smoking. I saw her in a panic and helped her call her triple A and the police for more than 1.5hrs. I still remember her name, it was Maria Stockley. She's a very nice little lady who reminds me of my mom... because she was a little panicking. Anyways... I waited til triple A came and she went off to Reading PA. Hope she's okay from there!

Longwood Garden!

Today I took my mom to Longwood Garden! It was really nice, but my mom and I determined it's better to go during the summer so we can see more things. Mom didn't let me take a lot of pics of her and I didn't have good enough lense to zoom and take pics of everything I wanted... here's a few pics!

Since I am still learning about SLR cameras, here are the pictures I took with this camera. There is something I don't understand about the camera. I got this camera brand new and it seems as though is a reflection on the images....I wonder if it's because I bought a cheap filter at Best Buy instead of RitzCamera?=T

Today my co-worker gave me an assignment for my new camera! The results I got was amazing. I am happy I have a mentor like her that can teach me not only work related stuff, but hobbie related as well :) Thanks Helen!

New Journey!

So I am so excited! I got my first DSLR~ which one? Yup! You are correctttt! It is the one I wanted the MOST, the wonderful Canon XSi! I will upload a few pics later. I will still be using my Sony camera as well :) I will tag which camera was used.

Canon Xsi

I really like the Canon Xsi SLR camera. I went to Best buy today and looked at the camera for about 2 hrs after work. I might be getting this camera soon as a upgrade to the camera my dad bought me. The camera dad got still works, but it's starting to get old and not work as well. Most of the time, I still get nice pictures, but I get a lot of blurry ones.

I will take the old camera out when i go out to hang out, but when visiting new places, I'll take the Xsi if i buy it to take photos that can tell a story! Stay Tune!

Wedding!

I love weddings...if i had a choice to be any type of photographer, I would be a wedding one. I didn't really have my camera with me and I don't have an SLR, but this is what I took with my cousin's camera. :)
